Fit Guide
Sizes on this belt are lengths, not hip sizes. That one fact clears up almost every wrong-size order in this category. Here's how to measure once and get it right.
Step 1 — Measure where the belt will sit
Stand relaxed, feet together. Wrap a soft tape around the widest part of your hips, over the hip bones — below your waistline, roughly where the top of your jeans sits. Keep the tape level and snug, not tight. Measure over thin clothing or on skin, whichever way you'll wear the belt.
Don't measure your waist. The belt never goes there.
Step 2 — Pick the length that comfortably exceeds that number
| Your hip measurement | Order | Belt length |
|---|---|---|
| Under 43 in | 110 cm | 43 in / 110 cm |
| Under 47 in | 120 cm | 47 in / 120 cm |
| Under 55 in | 140 cm | 55 in / 140 cm |
Between two lengths? Take the longer one. The two pull-straps take up the slack; a belt that's too short won't overlap enough to fasten properly. If your hips measure well under 43 in, the 110 cm will overlap more than usual — message us before you order and we'll check it with you.
Step 3 — The first fitting
- Wrap the belt low, across the hip bones and the top of the pelvis, under your waistline.
- Overlap the ends and press the hook-and-loop closed.
- Pull both pull-straps forward evenly and press them down. You should feel held, not squeezed.
- Stand up, sit down, walk to the kitchen. If it rides up to your waist, it's too high or too loose — re-seat it lower and firm the straps.
The three mistakes that cause returns
- Measuring the waist. Waists are smaller than hips; the belt ends up too short.
- Ordering by dress or jeans size. Neither maps to a belt length.
- Wearing it at the waist. It's a pelvic belt — it works low, on the bones, not on the soft part of your middle.
Wrong length anyway?
