Handmade from breathable leather with a moulded, cushioned footbed, DRAYTON slips on in seconds without ever looking like it was built for ease alone. The moccasin-stitched apron and flexible sole give it a tooling-shoe character that pairs as well with tailoring as it does with denim.

Sizing

Sizes are set by the pad and the strap range, not by a collar size.

Small — 15 × 60 cm pad, 94–138 cm strap range.
Medium — 17 × 71 cm pad, 107–148 cm strap range.

Machine washable. Slide the handle sleeve off first, wash cool, and air dry rather than tumbling so the fleece keeps its loft.

Using it safely

Take it off when your dog is resting or unsupervised. It is made for the moments you are actively helping: the car, the stairs, a short walk. Check underneath for rubbing when you take it off, the same as you would a collar.

The towel under the belly

It is what most of us reach for first, and it does the job for a while. But a towel has no fixed handle and nothing holding it in place, so it slides along the body and you end up gripping tighter and lower than you meant to — usually on the stairs, usually in a hurry.

A rear-support sling

The panel is shaped to stay put under the hips, and the handle is fixed where your hand already is. One steady place to lift from, at a height you set, so your dog keeps walking while you carry some of the weight.

Where it earns its place

It starts at the car door. Your dog is up, waiting, still expecting to come — and the back end just will not make the jump. The sling gives you somewhere to lift from, so they can get their front legs up and you take the rest. Same on the stairs, on kitchen tile, and on the slow lap of the garden last thing at night.
